A Youth Program by Mommy Break Inc.
Teen Thingz: Different On Purpose is a safe, creative, and empowering community for teens who think differently, feel deeply, and are discovering who they are. Designed for young people who may not always fit into traditional social circles, our program creates spaces where individuality is celebrated, friendships are built, and confidence can grow naturally.
Created for introverts, gamers, anime lovers, artists, deep thinkers, neurodivergent teens, book lovers, music producers, future entrepreneurs, creative kids, and teens who often feel overlooked or “too different” for traditional groups, Teen Thingz: Different On Purpose is a place where being yourself is not only accepted; it’s celebrated.
Through interest-based groups, creative experiences, mentorship, workshops, and structured social events, teens are encouraged to explore their passions, connect with like-minded peers, and embrace what makes them unique. Whether they are into art, gaming, entrepreneurship, music, technology, anime, fashion, content creation, or simply looking for a place where they belong, our program provides a supportive environment where they can grow, express themselves, and build meaningful connections.
Our monthly events, community gatherings, themed socials, game nights, showcases, and workshops are intentionally designed to promote self-expression, positive social interaction, personal growth, leadership, creativity, and confidence in a fun, welcoming, and judgment-free atmosphere.
Teen Thingz: Different On Purpose also includes specialized groups within the program that allow teens to connect through shared interests and passions, including:
• Creative Crew – Art, photography, fashion, graphic design, journaling, and creative expression
• Tech & Gaming – Gaming tournaments, coding, streaming, and content creation
• Entrepreneur Crew – Business ideas, branding, vending, social media, and money mindset
• Wellness & Self-Discovery – Confidence building, communication skills, affirmations, and mental wellness support
• Music & Media – Podcasting, music production, spoken word, dance, and video editing
• Anime & Pop Culture Club – Anime nights, cosplay ideas, fan art, themed events, and creative discussions
