Mommy Break Inc. was born from a deep place of compassion, faith, and lived experience. Founded by Kengela Gia, a teen mom turned transformational leader, our mission is to be a safe space for mothers; especially teen moms, single moms, and those navigating life’s toughest seasons.

 

We know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming motherhood can feel. That’s why we’re building a community where healing is accessible, sisterhood is real, and growth is possible. Through faith-centered programs, life skills workshops, mentorship, and our signature Mommy Break Sisterhood, we walk alongside mamas every step of the way.

 

Whether you’re a young mom trying to finish school, a single mom rebuilding after heartbreak, or a mother simply needing encouragement; you are seen here. You are supported. And you are never alone.

Meet the Founder

Kengela Gia is a mother, visionary, and advocate with a heart for healing and empowering moms through every phase of motherhood. As the founder and CEO of Mommy Break Inc., she created this nonprofit out of her own lived experience; navigating motherhood, personal growth, and spiritual alignment while building a life rooted in purpose.

 

Driven by the belief that every mom deserves support, joy, and space to breathe, Kengela leads with compassion and authenticity. Her mission is to create a safe, uplifting community where mothers can find connection, take care of themselves, and grow without guilt.

 

Through Mommy Break Inc., she’s turning her calling into a movement; one break, one breakthrough at a time.
